Advocate AAUP Values Everyday

AAUP Bucknell encourages members and participants to advocate for our values of academic freedom, workplace democracy, equitable compensation, and fair work distribution. Regardless of your position at the university, whether faculty, staff or student worker, you can be an advocate knowing that AAUP has got your back. Here are some ways:

  • Recruit a colleague to AAUP Bucknell!
  • Join a Standing Committee (email kfield@bucknell.edu)
  • Help Communications Flyer Campus (email dbl016@bucknell.edu)
  • Attend the dining provider finalist presentations on 3/6-3/7, and ask one of the following questions in person or online::
    • What is the expected hourly wage of your lowest paid employee at Bucknell?
    • What is the expected benefits package for your full-time employees at Bucknell? What percentage of Bucknell dining staff are expected to be full time?
    • What is the average compensation package for your C-suite officers? How many times greater is this average C-suite compensation package compared to the annual compensation package of the lowest paid employee at Bucknell?
  • Nominate worker advocates and worker antagonists for the first annual AAUP Bucknell Honor Roll (email sehenry@bucknell.edu)

Advocate AAUP values at . . .
